Gender Identity, Transgender and
Gender Dysmorphia
I have a special interest in working with the following identities, practices
and relationship dynamics: lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, transgender,
gender non-conforming, non-binary, gender fluid, queer, intersex. I also
work with sexual non-conforming practices including polyamory, open
relationships, swingers, BDSM, kink and paraphilias.
Gender Identity is a person’s perception of having a particular gender, which
may or may not correspond with their birth sex. Transgender people have a
gender identity or gender expression that differs from their sex assigned at
birth. I assist transgender people who desire medical assistance to
transition from one sex to another.
The condition or conflict of feeling one’s emotional and psychological
identity as male or female to be opposite to one’s biological sex, is known
as gender dysphoria.
